1. Site Management & Budgeting
   

Both outdoor and indoor events need extensive planning, from signage, toilets and fencing to security, first aid and radio communications. Common Sense works closely with suppliers across the South West to ensure your event is safe and ready to open its doors.

Common Sense also provides onsite Event Managers and Coordinators to ensure your event runs smoothly from managing arrival of contractors to crowd management and liaison between security and first aid services. Our staff have worked on large scale events from Bristol Habourside Festival with over 10,000 spectators on site to small Fashion Shows and Gig Nights.

Managing contracts from a wide range of suppliers can be dounting and time consuming, here at Common Sense we’ve got experienced staff that  can look after all your number crunching for you!

2. Stage Management

Common Sense can provide trained and experienced staff to manage stages at a wide range of events from comedy to award ceremonies. Supervising schedules, links between the technical departments and security. Common Sense can also provide Artist Liaison staff who can manage arrival of artists and hospitality.

3. Technical Hire, Install and Power Management

Common Sense works closely with a wide range of Technical Providers across the South West providing you with the right size kit for your budget and venue. From Decor, Lighting, Sound to Visual Screen and Effects there’s no limit to how we can make your event shine.
Of course no event can work without power. Common Sense can ensure your event is powered both safely and economically. From Generator Hire to Cables and Distribution.

4. Venue Booking & Licensing

No matter how big or small your event is, Common Sense has contact with over 100 local venues which could be perfect for your event.  In constant contact with the local councils we can outdoor spaces in and around the South West region as well as licensing & insurance support for both long term and temporary events.

5. Health & Safety

Health and Safety is one of the most important attributes of any event. At Common Sense we’ve had long term experience in H&S from Crowd Control to Evacuation Procedures to Risk Assessments.  Common Sense works closely with Health and Safety Executive ensuring we meet their guidelines and ratios. Common Sense also works closely with H&S Supervisors that we can provide for your event ensuring that your event is run safely.

6. Artist Booking

Common Sense works closely with the local artists of Bristol and can provide a wide range of talent for your event from Comedy, Theatrical, Musical and Sporty .

7. Crew Hire

Common Sense can offer a wide range of crew for your event from General Techs,  to Lighting Designers, Sound Engineers, Riggers, H&S Supervisors, Event Managers, Stewards and Security Staff. These are included as standard in any of our Event Management Packages but we can also offer most of our crew types out as freelance staff for your event.
